Purpose of the Role The ‘Finance Business Partner –

- Product, Alliances, &
- Innovation’ informs and supports key performance delivery and execution across the Product Division (Product, Pricing and Underwriting) and within the Growth Ops Division (Innovation and Alliances) to play a key part in the Corporate Finance purpose of supporting and driving profitable growth throughout A&G.; The Product division spearheads exceptional profitable growth year-on-year through market-leading pricing and product design and underwriting excellence, and this role is pivotal to ensure it can continue doing so. The Alliances department oversees our products that leverage the excellence of our Alliance partners in Product or services.

Position Accountabilities The Finance Business Partner role works within the structure and procedures of the Corporate Finance team however works closely with the Divisional leadership teams.

- Provide financial leadership to the business with input, leadership and recommendations on strategic direction, commercial constructs, business cases and divisional initiatives.
- Create and update relevant financial models to support new and ongoing business initiatives with a focus on driving process improvements and commercial insights. Providing input into business packs and materials to prepare and inform business cases.




- Ensure the delivery of financial and managerial reports and analysis to internal stakeholders, this specifically includes the production, analysis and actioning of monthly management, operational and Board reporting as required.
- Identifying performance opportunities through analysis and interpretation and providing clear insights to the Product Director and leadership teams. This includes daily, weekly, and monthly results as relevant to understand and drive performance as well as ad hoc analysis and reporting requests as required.
- Driving the planning and forecasting processes for the Growth Ops Division providing adequate rigour and challenge to ensure alignment with strategy.
- Seek and lead process improvement from an operating rhythm perspective within the team and division, and across the wider business.
- Understand financial implications and risks (including mitigation) of performance, projects, initiatives, contracts and educate key stakeholders on these, including translation to operational results.
- Liaise with key stakeholders with the support teams, the broader Finance community and Customer &
- Data teams and the wider business to ensure effective delivery of key objectives.

Qualifications And Experience

Essential

- At least three years’ experience in a senior finance role in a comparable organization environment with experience from a business engagement / advisory perspective (business partnering / commercial manager etc)

- Technically strong commercial mind with excellent systems & software capability.
- Formal qualifications in a relevant area and CA/CPA accreditation
- A high level of self-awareness and personal effectiveness

Preferred

- Specific experience in the Banking, Finance &

- Insurance and /or Technology industry and associated understanding and knowledge of the current and emerging regulatory, commercial,



technology and operational trends.
- Experience of driving performance, enhancements and innovation through engagement and challenge.
- Familiar with TM1, PowerBI or similar analytics tools
