The Role An opportunity is available for an experienced Finance Business Analyst to join a collaborative technology team supporting a broad finance systems environment.

Sitting at the intersection of Finance and Technology, you will work closely with Finance leaders, technical teams and other key stakeholders to understand business requirements, improve financial processes and help deliver enhancements across ERP, procure-to-pay and other finance platforms.

This role would suit a Business Analyst who has developed a strong understanding of accounting and finance processes and enjoys translating complex business requirements into practical technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead requirements gathering, analysis, scoping and prioritisation across finance technology initiatives.
- Partner with Finance, Technology and Architecture stakeholders to understand business needs and translate these into clear functional requirements.
- Review existing finance processes, system configurations and data flows to identify opportunities for improvement.




- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to support solution design and project delivery.
- Support initiatives across ERP, Procure-to-Pay, payment and broader finance platforms.
- Develop and maintain user stories, requirements, process documentation and supporting project materials.
- Build strong working relationships across Finance and Technology functions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across BA processes, standards and delivery frameworks.
- Provide guidance and support to other Business Analysts, helping strengthen BA capability across the wider team.

About You You will be an experienced Business Analyst who can comfortably operate across both Finance and Technology. You understand how core accounting processes work and can confidently engage with finance stakeholders while also communicating effectively with technical delivery teams.

Ideally, you will bring:

- 3–5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within Finance, ERP, systems or transformation environments.
- Strong understanding of finance processes such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, procurement and/or financial close.
- Experience working with enterprise ERP or financial systems.
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, SAP, Oracle or comparable ERP platforms will be highly regarded.




- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management capability.
- Experience working with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving and process improvement skills.
- The ability to translate between Finance and Technology stakeholders and communicate complex requirements clearly.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, IT or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
