Success in this role will be demonstrated by developing robust forecasting models, improving management reporting capability, delivering insightful executive dashboards, and supporting strategic initiatives that enhance organisational performance.
We're seeking a sharp, analytical mind to support the CFO and our Finance Business Partnering team in delivering financial modelling, dashboards, insightful reporting, and data-driven analysis. This pivotal role will harness analytics tools to uncover trends, build robust forecasting models, and empower smarter decision-making across the business.
How you will contribute
- Reporting & Insights: Build KPI reports in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including the development of user-friendly dashboards using PowerBI.
- Financial Strategy & Analysis: Develop financial models for tenders, performance projections and sector opportunities; identify improvement and de-risking opportunities with stakeholders.
- Operational & Project Support: Contribute to finance projects like system implementation and management reporting enhancements; assist with external benchmarking.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong connections with managers and stakeholders; provide financial and system coaching and support to help teams achieve business goals.

Your skills and experience
We want you to be successful in your new role! This means you'll have:
- Professional Credentials & Experience: Qualified CA/CPA with demonstrated experience in management accounting, financial analysis, and business partnering within a complex operational environment.
- Technical & Analytical Expertise: Advanced skills in financial modelling, Power BI dashboard building and reporting, experience with ERP implementation. Microsoft D365 experience is desirable but not essential.
- Relationship Management: Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across functions with a customer-focused mindset.
- Strategic & Operational Agility: Adept at planning, time management, and driving initiatives to completion with a proactive, flexible work style.
- Sector Knowledge: Experience in aged care, community services or other human services sectors highly regarded, with a strong understanding of business needs and performance improvement.
- Effective Communication: Robust verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights that support decision-making.
