People4U is proud to be partnering with our client in the search for a Finance Officer to join their Corporate Services team.

Our client is a privately owned Australian house of brands with capabilities spanning technology, marketing, communications, design, print and fulfilment.

Their Corporate

Services team provides finance, HR, IT, legal and administrative support across the Group, enabling each operating business to perform at its best.

The Opportunity

This is a broad, hands-on finance role covering transactional accounting, month-end reporting, compliance and reconciliations across several Group entities. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you'll have regular exposure to entity CEOs and senior leadership, and genuine ownership over the accuracy and timeliness of the Group's financial reporting.

Beyond the day-to-day, this role is being set up as a launching pad. Our client's finance function already leans on a small support structure, including offshore assistance for elements of the workload, and as the business continues to grow, there is a clear pathway for the right person to step up and lead that function: setting priorities, mentoring junior support, and taking a broader hand in shaping how finance operates across the business.

Monthly Performance Bonus In addition to a competitive base salary, this role offers a monthly performance bonus of $500 (inclusive of super), payable when month-end accounts and reporting for the three nominated operating entities are completed accurately by the fifth business day of the following month.

Key Responsibilities

- Managing accounts payable and receivable,



daily bank reconciliations and domestic/international payments across multiple entities

- Preparing month-end journals, reconciliations and balance sheet/P&L; reviews

- Preparing management reports and supporting Board reporting, including regular reviews with entity CEOs

- Preparing and lodging BAS, and managing payroll tax, superannuation and FBT requirements

- Reviewing bills, managing approvals, and overseeing accounts across platforms including Xero, Expensify and Airwallex

- Supporting annual budgeting and identifying opportunities to improve financial processes

- Providing practical, day-to-day guidance to staff on financial treatment and process

- Contributing to broader Corporate Services support as needed

About You

- Solid experience as a Finance Officer, Assistant Accountant, Bookkeeper or similar hands-on accounting role

- Strong working knowledge of Xero and Google Suite

- Practical experience with month-end reporting, BAS, payroll tax, superannuation and FBT

- Comfortable managing competing deadlines across multiple entities

- Exceptional attention to detail and a genuinely proactive, solutions-focused mindset

- Confident communicating with CEOs, managers, employees and external advisers
