The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a high-growth technology business that is recognised as one of Australia's leading innovation success stories. With a global footprint and ambitious growth plans, the organisation is investing heavily in systems, automation and finance transformation, creating an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Financial Accountant. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in financial reporting, audit, compliance and process improvement activities while contributing to major finance projects, including ERP implementation and the integration of AI-driven tools into the finance function.

This position provides the opportunity to work closely with an impressive senior leadership team while contributing to a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative environment.

The Challenge

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Delivering monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting
- Preparing financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making
- Supporting external audit processes and compliance requirements
- Assisting with the development and enhancement of accounting policies and internal controls
- Contributing to ERP implementation, testing and system improvement projects
- Supporting finance transformation initiatives, automation projects and the integration of AI tools within finance processes
- Partnering with stakeholders across sales,



marketing and operations to improve reporting and business performance

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

- CA/CPA qualified (or nearing completion)
- 3-5 years' experience gained within Big 4, a leading mid-tier firm or a commercial accounting environment
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
- Experience working with AASB/IFRS reporting frameworks
- A genuine interest in systems, process improvement, automation and technology
- High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced workplace
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders
- A hands-on, proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
