An exciting chance has arisen for a Financial/Management Accountant to join a large, well-established organisation known for its strong market presence and high-performing team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will take on a broad range of responsibilities, including:
- End-to-end month-end close process
- Preparation of monthly management reports, including P&L; and variance analysis
- Preparation of annual financial statements
- Assisting with the annual audit
- Balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany accounts
- Cash flow forecasting and monitoring
- Preparation of BAS and payroll tax
- Supporting and mentoring the Assistant Accountant
- Business partnering with key internal stakeholders
- Ad hoc analysis and project work
To be successful in this role, you will be CA/CPA qualified with 3 years of accounting experience, either as a Financial/Management Accountant within industry or from a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm. You will be able to work autonomously, have a proactive approach, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
