Our mission is to improve the lives of people with renal failure, reunite families and reduce the impact of kidney disease in our communities. We are run by Aboriginal people for Aboriginal people and work to provide culturally appropriate health, aged care and general support services in regional and remote communities, helping people to get home to country and family.

About the Role The Fitout Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the fitout of new Purple House remote dialysis units, ensuring each facility is fully equipped, operational and ready to safely receive patients. Working closely with the Dialysis Services Manager, Business Manager, Project Manager, builders, stores and clinical staff, the Fitout Coordinator will coordinate procurement, logistics, supplier accounts and project activities required to establish new dialysis units and associated staff accommodation.

Key responsibilities

Project Coordination

- - Coordinate the fitout of recent dialysis units from commencement through to operational readiness.
- Develop and monitor project plans, timelines and milestones.
- Provide regular progress updates and identify project risks.
- Participate in project meetings and support successful project delivery.

Procurement and Asset Coordination
- - Purchase all equipment and consumables not supplied by the builder.
- Establish supplier accounts and coordinate procurement in line with organisational processes and approved budgets.
- Develop supply chains and logistics processes for the ongoing delivery of stock to remote communities.
- Coordinate ordering to meet project timelines.




- Maintain equipment inventories and asset registers.
- Coordinate the procurement and fitout of staff accommodation.

Logistics and Commissioning
- - Coordinate freight, delivery and storage of equipment and furniture.
- Liaise with suppliers, freight providers and Purple House Stores.
- Assist dialysis staff with the setup and commissioning of new dialysis units.
- Ensure all equipment and consumables are delivered and operational before handover.

Stakeholder Engagement
- - Build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including project staff, suppliers, contractors and community contacts.
- Communicate regularly regarding project progress, procurement, logistics and identified risks.

- Necessary requirements to be able to travel to remote communities within the Northern Territory and South Australia.
- A current Australian Driver Licence (unrestricted).

Highly Desirable





- Experience in project coordination, procurement or logistics.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Sound computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience in healthcare, construction or remote service delivery is desirable.
