Simutech Solutions is seeking Expressions of Interest from skilled Flight Simulator Technicians to join our growing team in Adelaide. If you're someone who thrives on solving complex problems, has a genuine interest in aviation, and enjoys getting results, we want to hear from you!

You don't need to have a background in aviation, or flight simulation - we are open to hiring the right candidate from any background and have very strong internal training programs.

About the Role:

As a Flight Simulator Technician, you'll be directly maintaining and supporting Flight Simulation Training Devices for our civil aviation and defence clients. This includes both preventative and corrective maintenance, ensuring these complex systems are ready for training as and when our clients need them to meet their aviation training needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Daily readiness tasks, including start ups & shutdown as well as pre and post-flight testing.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues on a range of Flight Simulation Training Devices.
- Perform both corrective/unscheduled and preventative/scheduled maintenance.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced technicians to deliver exceptional service.
- You may need to travel locally internationally to support our clients' needs in some cases.

We're Looking For:

- A solid background in electronics technician work, aircraft maintenance (avionics), or any related field - feel free to reach out if you're from any technical background, we're open to all ideas including 'left field' ones.




- Ideally (but not essentially), a qualification in Avionics, Mechatronics or Electronics.
- A genuine passion for aviation and all things electronic, computers, and networking.
- The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
- A "get it done" attitude and a willingness to contribute to a positive team setting.

Bonus Points:

- Cert IV Aeroskills Avionics or similar.
- Direct simulator maintenance experience.
- Electronics engineering degree or equivalent.
- Previous experience with maintenance and engineering on Flight Simulation Training Devices (Acron, Thales, CAE, FlightSafety, TRU, AMST, Resier, SIM International, etc.).
