We’re looking for a hands-on Production & Warehouse worker to join our organic spices manufacturing business on a casual basis.
This role is based at our Hornsby warehouse.
This role is not suitable for those seeking weekend-only work, requiring work visa or with no prior food production and warehouse experience.
What you’ll do
- Production of spice mixes, oils and herb blends.
- Operate small-scale production and warehouse equipment's safely and efficiently.
- General warehouse duties including stock movement, warehouse management and cleaning.
- Follow safe manual handling, food safety, health and hygiene procedures.
- Clean, wash and sanitise production and warehouse area
What we’re looking for
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Comfortable working with solid spices and herbs
- Ability to lift 20kg bags and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to details and ability to follow procedures carefully.
- Available 1 or 2 weekdays (10 am-5 pm) - Mondays, Wednesday & Friday.
- Your current ABN.
- Food hygiene & handling certificate or willingness to obtain prior to start.
Desirable: Prior experience in spices, tea and oil production, product packing and interest in cooking. Location: Warehouse – Hornsby
