Eye See You Optometry is a growing mobile optometry business providing comprehensive eye care and optical services directly to residents in aged care facilities.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Optical Dispenser to join our team and help deliver an exceptional dispensing experience to our patients across North and Central Queensland.

About the Role

n

As a Mobile Optical Dispenser, you will work alongside our optometrists at aged care facilities, assisting residents with frame selection, measurements, dispensing and adjustments.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Providing professional optical dispensing and frame selection
n
- Taking accurate measurements and ensuring correct fitting
n
- Helping residents select frames and lenses suited to their individual needs
n
- Explaining lens options clearly and confidently
n
- Taking orders and coordinating the delivery of completed spectacles
n
- Fitting and adjusting glasses
n
- Providing after-care and resolving dispensing issues
n
- Building positive relationships with residents, families and aged care staff
n
- Maintaining accurate patient and dispensing records
n
- Travelling to aged care facilities across North and Central Queensland
n
- Working closely with our optometrists and wider team to provide a seamless patient experience
n

About You

n





We are looking for someone who is:

- Qualified and experienced in optical dispensing
n
- Confident with frame selection, measurements and fitting
n
- Friendly, approachable and patient
n
- Comfortable working independently and travelling between facilities
n
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
n
- Comfortable working with elderly patients and people with varying levels of mobility and communication
n
- Professional and well presented
n
- A strong communicator who enjoys building relationships
n
- Passionate about providing excellent patient care
n

n

Experience working with aged care patients would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
