We're now looking for a Freight Clerk to join our Brisbane team at Acacia Ridge, working a permanent afternoon shift from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

You don't need to come from transport or logistics to be successful in this role. If you have robust administration, customer service, coordination or operational experience and are confident working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What's The Role:

- Coordinating freight bookings, scheduling and daily movements
- Liaising with drivers, customers, warehouse staff and the operations team
- Completing driver debriefs and assisting with daily operational requirements
- Preparing and maintaining manifests,



run sheets and freight documentation
- Updating shipment records and freight management systems
- Responding to customer enquiries and providing freight updates
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies in freight or consignment information
- Completing general administration, data entry and reporting
- Supporting the operations team to meet daily service and delivery requirements
- Ensuring documentation and processes meet safety, compliance and company requirements

What You'll Bring: Transport experience is not essential. We're open to candidates from other industries who can bring the right transferable skills and attitude.

You may have experience in administration, customer service, scheduling, coordination, warehousing, manufacturing, retail, operations or another fast-paced environment.

We're looking for someone with:

- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Confident communication and customer service skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
- Confidence using computer systems and learning new technology
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership
- Strong problem-solving skills
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of an operational team
- Reliability and a positive, team-focused attitude
- Previous freight, transport or logistics experience is advantageous, but not essential
- Experience with freight or transport management systems is desirable, but training can be provided
