Opening our doors in Thomastown 5 years ago, we are a casual and family friendly dine-in and take-away restaurant offering full table-service with a fully licensed bar and dedicated function / private dining space. We offer lunch and dinner 5 days a week, and we are growing fast!

About You:

- Minimum 2 years' restaurant or cafe serving experience required

- Well-presented and punctual with a solid work ethic

- Recognised communication skills to read the room to anticipate customer needs; in this role you are essentially air traffic controller, salesperson, problem-solver and entertainer.

- Able to work under pressure and problem solve autonomously during fast-paced service periods

- Attention to detail,



highly organized with the ability to multi-task

- Willingness to learn systems and menus to ensure you are across all elements of the business to handle all customer enquires in an autonomous and efficient manner

- Exceptional team player collaborating with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient service

- Current Victorian RSA certification must be held before applying for this position

- Food Handling certification - such as Do Food Safely - favourably looked upon; staff must obtain this with 2 weeks of starting if not currently held

- Barista experience is an advantage

About the Role:

- Welcoming and seating customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Providing prompt and courteous service including taking orders, serving dine-in food and drinks, and processing payments

- Maintaining a clean and organised dining area, restocking supplies, and adhering to company policies in-line with health and safety standards including stock rotation

- Providing exceptional customer service and responding to any customer queries or concerns to ensure our guests receive attentive and efficient service throughout their visit

- Plating up desserts, preparing coffees and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from the bar

- Cleaning duties including emptying bins, sweeping & mopping, and toilets as required
