Bakers Delight is seeking an experienced and qualified Baker to join our team on a full-time basis.

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Baker who is passionate about producing high-quality breads and baked products. The successful applicant will undertake the preparation and production of a range of fresh bakery products while maintaining high standards of quality, food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, mix and knead dough using traditional and modern baking techniques.
- Produce a range of breads, rolls and other baked products.
- Follow recipes and established baking procedures to ensure consistent quality.
- Operate bakery equipment including ovens, mixers, dividers and other specialist machinery.
- Monitor dough preparation, proving, baking times and temperatures to achieve the required texture, colour and finish.
- Shape and prepare dough and bakery products for baking.
- Check the quality of ingredients and finished bakery products.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and workplace safety.
- Assist with inventory management, stock control and rotation of ingredients.




- Ensure sufficient fresh ingredients and supplies are available for production.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe bakery work area.
- Work effectively as part of the bakery team.

Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant qualification in Baking, such as Certificate III in Baking or equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) year of relevant work experience as a Baker.
- Demonstrated experience working in a commercial or professional bakery environment.
- Strong knowledge of bread making, dough preparation and baking techniques.
- Experience operating commercial bakery equipment.
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery workplace.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Ability to work early morning shifts and other shifts as required.
