We are a leading provider of cleaning services and are currently looking for reliable and hardworking new team members who have great communication skills to join our team at Student One (363 Adelaide St, Brisbane City QLD 4000), Brisbane QLD.

The role:

- Full Time contract
- Shifts: Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week

Requirements:

- Police check (1 year validity)
- Good communication skills
- Cleaning experience preferred
- Available to work the required hours

To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate that you are a team player with a strong customer service approach and the ability to follow directions and work autonomously. Experience in cleaning is not essential, as all training to complete your role effectively and safely will be provided. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the student accommodation, including common areas, shared facilities and other designated areas.
- Cleaning and maintaining communal areas such as kitchens, lounges, hallways, stairways and recreational areas.
- Completing vacuuming, mopping, dusting, waste removal and washroom cleaning as required.




- Ensuring shared facilities are clean, presentable and ready for students and residents to use.
- Following instructions from your Supervisor/Manager and completing cleaning tasks according to site requirements.
- Working in a safe manner while being respectful of students, residents, staff and visitors.
- Reporting any maintenance issues, damage, hazards or other concerns to your Supervisor/Manager.
- Completing equipment checks and using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly.
- Providing a friendly and professional service while working in a busy student accommodation workplace.
