WE’RE HIRING: CHEF / COOK The Ballpark Kotara | Casual or Full-Time

The Ballpark Kotara is looking for a Chef/Cook to join our kitchen team.

We’re not your typical restaurant. We’re a sports bar and entertainment venue where people come to eat, drink, play and have a bloody good time — and great food is a big part of that experience.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in what comes out of the kitchen, works well under pressure and wants to be part of a fun, fast-paced team.

THE ROLE

You’ll be responsible for keeping the kitchen running smoothly and making sure every dish that leaves the pass is something we’re proud to serve.

Your day-to-day will include:

- Preparing and cooking food to a consistently high standard

- Following recipes, prep lists and presentation standards

- Helping with daily kitchen prep and stock rotation

- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running efficiently

- Managing food safety and hygiene requirements

- Working as part of the wider Ballpark team to deliver a great guest experience

- Staying calm and organised during busy service periods

- Bringing your ideas and experience to the kitchen and helping us continue to improve

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience as a Chef, Cook or in a similar kitchen role

- Can confidently handle a busy service

- Takes pride in quality, presentation and consistency

- Has strong food preparation and cooking skills





- Understands food safety and kitchen hygiene

- Is reliable, organised and able to work independently

- Is a team player with a good attitude

- Doesn’t mind getting stuck in and helping wherever needed

- Wants to work somewhere that is a little different from your traditional kitchen
- A current Food Safety Handler qualification is needed
