Receptionist – Member Focused Service

Breakfast Point Country Club | Permanent Full-Time | 38 hours per week

Are you someone who genuinely enjoys engaging with people and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to members and residents within a private members club environment?

Breakfast Point Country Club is seeking an energetic, qualified, and member-focused Receptionist to join our small and friendly reception team. As the first point of contact for our members, residents, and guests, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming, professional, and personalised experience in our exclusive private members club.

This is a permanent full-time position working 38 hours per week, with a roster that includes early mornings, evenings and weekends.

The Roster

- Monday: 5:45am – 2:30pm
- Tuesday: 5:45am – 2:30pm
- Wednesday: RDO
- Thursday: 3:00pm – 8:30pm
- Friday: RDO
- Saturday: 6:30am – 3:00pm
- Sunday: 6:30am – 3:00pm

About the Role Reception is often the first point of contact for our members, residents, and guests, making this role integral to delivering the high standard of customer service and professionalism the Breakfast Point Country Club is known for.

We are looking for someone who enjoys building genuine relationships with members and guests, anticipates their needs and consistently delivers friendly, personalised, and professional service.

You will be expected to follow established processes and procedures consistently, while also being able to think on your feet,



use sound judgement and take initiative when faced with unexpected situations or member enquiries.

As part of your reception duties, this role provides support for club functions, community events, and member activities, requiring strong organisational skills and a willingness to assist wherever needed.

No two days are the same, so we need someone who can remain calm, adaptable, and solutions-focused while maintaining a high standard of service.

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

- An appreciation for delivering high-quality service within a private club, hospitality, or member-based environment.
- Minimum two years' experience in reception, front-of-house, or member service roles.
- Experience working within a private club, community association or member-based organisation will be highly regarded.
- Experience assisting with functions, events, and community activities will be highly regarded.
- A warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- The ability to follow processes and procedures accurately and consistently.
- The confidence to think independently, problem-solve and use initiative when circumstances require it.
- A can-do attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.




- A professional and confident telephone manner.
- The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations or difficult conversations.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy environment.
- Excellent punctuality and reliability.
- Competency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience using Canva to create simple promotional materials, notices, signage, social media content, or event collateral.
- A professional presentation and strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team.
