Role Overview

As a Furniture Sales Consultant, you will be the face of our brand on the showroom floor. Your primary responsibility is to engage customers, understand their needs, and guide them in selecting furniture and homewares that suit their style, budget, and space. You’ll play a key role in driving store sales while providing a personalised shopping experience that builds lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome customers and provide expert advice on furniture, home décor, and design solutions
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, including materials, features, and warranty details
- Prepare quotes, process sales transactions, and follow up on customer orders
- Contribute to visual merchandising and store presentation standards
- Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales support in a professional manner




- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth sales process and outstanding customer experience
- Stay informed about current trends in furniture design and interior styling

Skills & ExperienceEssential:

- Previous retail or sales experience (preferably in furniture, homewares, or lifestyle products)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- High attention to detail and a keen eye for design
- Basic computer literacy (POS systems, CRM, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and retail trading hours

Desirable:

- Experience in interior design or home styling
- Understanding of furniture materials, finishes, and construction
- Experience in a commission-based retail environment
