We are seeking physically fit and safety-conscious General Labourers to join a team in Bayswater. This role involves manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting and stacking, in a fast-paced production environment. You will work under strict safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely lift, carry and stack materials.
- Follow workplace procedures to secure materials and prevent accidents.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to minimise trip hazards.
- Report safety concerns or incidents to supervisors immediately.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
Essential Requirements
- Physical fitness: Able to repetitively lift 25kg and work in a physically demanding workplace.
- Manual handling experience:
Prior experience in manufacturing, warehousing or labouring roles preferred.
- Safety-first mindset: Commitment to PPE requirements (steel-capped boots, gloves, high-vis clothing).
- Teamwork: Good communication skills and able to work in a team.
- Reliability: Punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Full working rights in Australia.
Safety & Compliance
- Strict adherence to WorkSafe Victoria guidelines and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
- Participate in site-specific safety inductions and manual handling training.
- Zero tolerance for unsafe practices.
Pay: $33.00 – $37.00 per hour
