The General Manager - Networking and Connectivity is accountable for the strategy, commercial performance and end-to-end delivery of CT's networking and connectivity outcomes. With full profit and loss ownership, the role will grow sustainable revenue and margin, shape competitive managed services and connectivity offerings, and ensure customers receive secure, reliable and commercially sound outcomes.

We are open to candidates in Sydney, as well as Melbourne and Canberra.

What you'll do

- Define and execute CT’s networking and connectivity strategy, aligned to business growth and customer needs.
- Own the portfolio roadmap across managed networks, LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, internet, carrier services, network security and related solutions.
- Identify market, technology and customer opportunities to develop new services, partnerships and recurring revenue.
- Own the function’s P&L;, including revenue, margin, operating costs, budgets, forecasting and contribution targets.
- Drive pricing, packaging, commercial governance, recurring revenue, utilisation and delivery economics.
- Partner with Sales, Account Management and Marketing to build pipeline, strengthen propositions and convert strategic opportunities.
- Act as an executive sponsor and trusted advisor for key customers, supporting complex pursuits, renewals and material service issues.
- Ensure solutions are commercially viable, technically supportable and aligned to customer requirements.
- Lead reliable, secure and scalable delivery across managed network operations, connectivity services and projects.
- Establish clear service standards,



capacity plans and performance visibility, ensuring service levels and customer commitments are consistently achieved.
- Drive standardisation, automation and continuous improvement to improve quality, efficiency and cost-to-serve.
- Build strong relationships with carriers, distributors and technology partners, managing commercial terms, performance and risk.
- Maintain the partner capability and accreditations required to support CT’s networking portfolio.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary team with clear accountability and succession plans.
- Ensure strong governance across security, risk, change, incident, problem and commercial management.
- Provide clear executive reporting on financial performance, service delivery, customer outcomes and key risks.
- Drive the ongoing growth, maturity and market relevance of CT’s networking and connectivity portfolio.

What you'll bring:
- Proven senior leadership experience within an MSP, telecommunications provider, systems integrator or technology services environment.
- Demonstrated ownership of a material P&L;, with a track record of profitable growth and improved commercial performance.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise networking and connectivity, including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, internet, carrier services, network security and managed networks.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across technical delivery, operations, commercial and customer engagement.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen across budgeting, forecasting, pricing, margin management and investment cases.
- Proven ability to develop service propositions, go-to-market strategies and recurring revenue models.




- Strong commercial negotiation and vendor management skills, including contracts, incentives and service performance.
- Experience overseeing complex customer solutions from opportunity through transition, delivery and ongoing service.
- Understanding of service architecture, operational support models, automation, security and technology lifecycle management.
- Ability to challenge and govern complex technical solutions without becoming the technical dependency.
- Strong understanding of Australian and New Zealand technology, vendor and MSP market trends.
- Executive-level communication, influence and stakeholder management skills.
- Customer-focused and commercially decisive, with strong judgement and the ability to balance competing priorities.
- Calm, credible and action-oriented leadership style, particularly in complex or high-impact situations.
- Inclusive and collaborative leader who builds accountability, capability and high-performing teams.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and industry certifications in networking, security, service management or commercial leadership are desirable.
