This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for researchers who want high-impact, intellectually demanding work — on their own schedule.

What You'll Do
- Develop, solve, and critically review advanced, multi-disciplinary problems with real-world relevance — the kind that challenge AI at its limits
- Apply your research expertise to design complex problem statements that stress-test and sharpen AI reasoning capabilities
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain specialists to drive measurable improvements in model performance
- Uphold the highest standards of academic rigor, clarity, and depth across every deliverable
- Contribute across a range of subject areas where your expertise has the greatest impact
Who You Are
- Hold a Master's or PhD in a STEM or highly technical field from a leading university
- Have a robust track record of research, publications, or complex project leadership
- Write and communicate with exceptional clarity, precision, and attention to detail
- Fluent in English — you can explain advanced concepts in ways that are both technically accurate and accessible
- Self-directed and reliable when working independently in an asynchronous environment
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI evaluation systems
- Proficiency in Python, R, or other research-oriented programming languages
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or experience working alongside AI research teams
