Are you an experienced early childhood educator looking for something different?

Northern Rivers Children’s Services is growing our In Home Care (IHC) educator team across the Gold Coast and we are looking to register new educators who meet our requirements and are passionate about providing personalised care to children and families.

What is In Home Care?

In Home Care provides flexible early childhood education and care for eligible families who are unable to access suitable mainstream childcare. Our educators work with a variety of families and children, from infants through to 13 years of age. Every family is different, and some placements may involve complex or challenging needs, additional support requirements, or non-standard hours, including early mornings, evenings or other flexible arrangements.

UP TO $750 SIGN-ON INCENTIVE

Now is a great time to join our IHC team! New educators may be eligible forup to $750 through our Sign-On Incentive Program, paid afterthree months of active engagement. The incentive is subject to eligibility criteria and the NRCS In Home Care Sign-On Incentive Terms and Conditions. Available to current In Home Care educators only. It is not available to existing educators or educators who have previously been engaged with NRCS and subsequently return.

OUR EDUCATOR REQUIREMENTS To register with NRCS, you must have:





- Certificate III in Children’s Services (ACECQA approved)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate in a childcare setting
- Current Blue Card
- Police Clearance less than 6 months old
- Public Liability Insurance (required once successfully placed)
- Medical Clearance
- Child Protection Training (refresher required every 2 years)
- Foundation Training 1,2,3,4
- ABN – this is a self-employed contractor role
- Photo ID
- PRODA RA (assistance provided)
- Be over 18 years of age
- Reliable car and current driver’s licence
