Reporting to the Secretary/Manager, the Green Keeper will work flexible hours to maintain the bowling greens and club surrounds.
Key responsibilities
- Provide and maintain two quality bowling greens
- Maintain grounds and gardens
- Maintain and operate rollers, mowers, edgers, cutters and other green keeping equipment
- Manage chemical application
About you
- Experience in Horticulture / Sports Turf Management
- Experience in chemical application
- Ability to maintain and operate rollers, mowers, edgers, cutters and other green keeping equipment
- Hold, or be prepared to obtain, appropriate certification to manage chemical application
- Completion of a horticultural maintenance or green keeping certificate would be an advantage
- Robust commitment to working safely in a team environment
- Ability to provide good customer service
- Ability to plan ahead and organise work schedules to meet the needs of bowlers
