BOWSERS is a long established contracting company operating in the Fire Protection Industry. We have offices in Sydney (Matraville), and Brisbane. We work with experienced building, construction, and engineering professionals to deliver specialist passive fire protection services. Our projects are across a range of settings including new construction, hotels, offices, industrial, education, retail, aged care, child care and residential.
We are seeking a recent engineering graduate to join our Operations Team at our Matraville office. This role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and career progression within the business. Ideally, we are looking to develop and foster future project managers.
Candidates from any engineering discipline will be considered for this graduate position.
Duties & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for day-to-day tasks that will include;
- Creating & Managing Job Files (simPRO software)
- Reviewing Client Orders and Works Contracts.
- Preparing & Submitting Client Invoices each month.
- Review and completion of pre start project documentation for approval.
- Assist with incoming calls and technical enquiries to the office.
- Completing general operational administration tasks.
- Support our Estimating Department by preparing tender quotes for review and submission.
- Play a part in negotiating contract conditions and securing tenders.
- Applicants must have valid Australian work authorisation to be eligible for this position.
Skills You will need to be able to demonstrate a structured approach to your role.
The ideal candidate will also have a keen eye for detail, be a solid team player, be self motivated and have a proactive and practical work ethic.
It is expected that you are able to read, write and speak English clearly so as to be able to effectively communicate with our clients and employees. You will also be numerically accurate, and detail orientated.
You will have intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite of programs, and prior experience using simPRO operational software would be advantageous.
You must be able to multi-task and prioritise works effectively in order to provide optimal support for our business.
