About the role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Gym Manager to take on a full time leadership position at SANP Fitness Gosnells, located in Gosnells WA 6110.

As Gym

Manager, you will be the driving force behind the day-to-day operations of our fitness facility, overseeing all aspects of member services, staff management, financial performance, and facility maintenance. This is a strategic role that requires a passionate leader who can inspire a team, build strong member relationships, and contribute to the overall success and growth of the gym. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive culture that encourages member retention and attracts new clients to our facility.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee all daily operations of the gym, ensuring the facility is clean, safe, well-maintained, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Manage and supervise gym staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, performance management, and professional development
- Lead member acquisition and retention initiatives, ensuring excellent customer service and member satisfaction
- Monitor financial performance,



including revenue targets, expenses, membership sales, and profitability
- Develop and implement marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to increase membership and member engagement
- Manage membership enquiries, resolve member complaints, and ensure exceptional member experiences
- Maintain equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed
- Implement and enforce gym policies, procedures, and health and safety standards
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimise operational efficiency
- Collaborate with fitness instructors and personal trainers to deliver quality programming and services
- Generate reports on gym performance, membership trends, and operational metrics

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Gym Manager or in a similar fitness facility management role
- Solid leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with a passion for member satisfaction
- Solid understanding of fitness industry operations, including membership management, pricing models, and member retention strategies
- Proficiency in gym management software and Microsoft Office applications




- Strong financial acumen, including budget management, revenue forecasting, and cost control
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to fitness facilities
- A genuine passion for fitness and wellness
- Relevant qualifications in fitness, business management, or hospitality are advantageous
- Current first aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain it
