The Opportunity

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this is a full-time, hands-on role with real ownership and visible impact. From repairing what is in front of you to identifying what could become an issue tomorrow, you will help maintain the high standards behind a smooth and memorable guest experience/

No two days will look quite the same; you may be completing preventative maintenance, refreshing a guest area, responding to an unexpected repair or working with an external contractor to find the right solution. Whatever the task, you will bring practical thinking, reliability and care to the details that keep the hotel moving.

This role offers the satisfaction of getting to know one property inside and out, taking genuine ownership of its upkeep and seeing the difference your work makes every day.

The Talent

You may already be an experienced Maintenance Officer or Handyperson,



or you may be earlier in your career with some hands-on maintenance exposure and a genuine appetite to learn. What matters most is your practical mindset, reliability and willingness to build your skills within a supportive hotel environment.

Your experience may come from hotels, property maintenance, facilities, construction, painting or another hands-on setting where safety, quality and attention to detail matter.

You Will Bring

- Practical experience in property, facilities, building maintenance or a related field
- Hands-on capability across general repairs, painting or preventative maintenance
- The confidence to assess an issue, explore practical solutions and seek support when needed
- A proactive mindset and an eye for the details others may miss
- The ability to plan your day, prioritise requests and follow tasks through
- A cooperative approach when working with hotel teams and external contractors
- A strong commitment to workplace safety, quality and presentation standards
