- Day shifts- Home at night to suit WORK/LIFE/BALANCE
- Supermarket Runs-2-3 DROPS PER DAY
- Store deliveries - some EPJ unloads
- Must have or be willing to do a Police Check!

The Company

Our client is a family-owned transport company who has been operating in the industry for 30+ years in NSW and QLD. Great, supportive team, with flexibility in the role as work life balance is super important!!

The Position:

· Undertaking local and semi-regional multi-drop or straight deliveries as allocated daily.

· Plan routes and meet delivery schedules/windows.

· Unloading goods which requires using and Electric Pallet Jack.

· Operating the truck safely including complying with all road safety rules, fatigue management, traffic laws

· Complying with all onsite safety rules and regulations in relation to Forklifts.

· Maintaining documentation, including logs, timesheets and records of any safety and incidents.

· Inspecting of the truck to prevent any safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.

· Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retail fuel/product receipts.

The Person

You will hold a current HC/MC license and be available to start ASAP! A good work ethic and driving history.

· If the Driver holds a HR license and has 5+ years driving experience in Australia – this will be considered and held in high regard, if the individual is willing to attain/progress to a HC licence with company assistance.

· Drivers holding a HC licence should have a minimum of 5+ years driving experience in Australia. However,



using discretion, we are willing to review for the right candidate and their type of experience, as we are willing to train.

· Ability to maintain concentration while driving for several hours at a time.

· Have strong knowledge of traffic laws, particularly truck driving rules and regulations.

· Be physically fit.

· Have robust time management skills and can forward think.

· Sound basic mechanical knowledge.

· Have strong problem-solving skills to deal with accidents and unforeseen incidents.

· Have good communication skills – this is key to maintaining relationships. You must have the ability to converse with all facets of personnel – including your Supervisor, Manager, Team Members, all onsite Distribution Personnel.

· Maintain good working relationships with all Customers and conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
