Cottesloe Golf Club is one of the leading private golf clubs in Australia and is highly regarded throughout Perth. Located in Swanbourne, Western Australia, Cottesloe Golf Club was founded in 1908 and has built a reputation for excellence in service to our members and their guests.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced culinary leader to take the reins of our kitchen as Head Chef, offering a versatile working roster with a mix of days and nights.

Responsibilities for the role will include:

- Full leadership and management of the kitchen team, including rostering, training, mentoring and performance management
- Design and delivery of seasonal à la carte menus, member specials and function catering
- Ownership of food and labour costs, stock control, supplier relationships and ordering
- Setting and upholding the highest standards of food quality, presentation and consistency across all outlets
- Ensuring full compliance with Food Safety guidelines and relevant food handling legislation
- A hands-on, lead-by-example approach that builds a strong, collaborative kitchen culture
- Bringing innovative and creative food ideas to keep our offering fresh and engaging for members and guests
- A relentless focus on delivering an exceptional dining experience for members and visitors alike




- Compliance with safe work practices in line with the Club's Work, Health and Safety policies
- Working closely with Club management to align the kitchen's performance with the Club's broader hospitality standards and budget

Skills & Experience:

- Demonstrated leadership as a Head Chef, or as a senior Sous Chef ready to step up, for at least 5 years
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and develop a team
- A strong customer service focus and genuine passion for hospitality
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- High food standards in both quality and presentation, with exceptional attention to detail
- General understanding of club operations is preferred but not essential
- The ability to remain calm under pressure, multi-task, and solve problems in a professional and timely manner
