About The Opportunity

This is a newly created role reporting to the CFO, with the chance to build and mature More’s commercial finance capability as the business continues to scale.

The Head of Commercial Finance is a highly critical role in guiding More and its leaders to make stronger and more comprehensive commercial decisions. Reporting to the CFO, you will be the senior commercial finance partner to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team, connecting financial performance with the operational and customer drivers behind it.

You will own the commercial finance agenda across planning, forecasting, performance, modelling and decision support. Working closely with leaders across Product, Technology, Operations, Customer Experience and Growth, you will challenge thinking, identify opportunities and translate financial information into clear actions that drive revenue growth, profitability and improved business outcomes.

You’ll play a key role in shaping strategic decisions, evaluating investments and helping evolve the finance function into a more data-led, commercially focused and technology-enabled team.

You'll Be Successful In This Role If You

- Commercial strategy & business partnering - You act as a key commercial advisor to the CFO, CEO and Executive Leadership Team, building strong partnerships across the business and guiding better commercial decision-making.
- Planning, budgeting & forecasting - You own budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and strategic planning activities, ensuring financial outcomes are connected to operational drivers and business objectives.




- Business Performance & Executive Insights – You analyse customer growth, revenue, churn, profitability, margin and cash flow, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and translate them into clear recommendations and executive-level reporting.
- Commercial modelling & investment decisions - You develop robust financial models and business cases, supporting investment decisions, strategic initiatives and commercial opportunities.
- Vendor economics & cost optimisation - You evaluate vendor investments, procurement decisions and cost optimisation initiatives, ensuring value is delivered across the business.
- Financial governance & control - You partner with the CFO to maintain strong financial governance and support sound decision-making through appropriate controls, risk management and reporting integrity.
- Finance transformation, AI & automation - You champion continuous improvement, leveraging data, automation and AI to enhance forecasting, reporting and decision support capabilities.
- Leadership - You build a culture of commercial curiosity, accountability and continuous improvement, ensuring finance is a valued partner to the business.

About You We don't expect you to tick every box, but we're looking for a commercially minded finance leader who can partner with the business to drive performance and growth:

- Significant experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A;, Finance Business Partnering or a similar senior finance leadership role.
- Strong commercial judgement and financial acumen.
- Demonstrated experience leading budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.
- Solid financial modelling capability, with the ability to translate complex business issues into commercial and financial insights.
- Experience developing business cases and evaluating investments to support strategic decision-making.
- Strong understanding of P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow and key business performance drivers.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge assumptions constructively.
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining comfortable getting into the detail.

Nice To Have

- CA, CPA or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in telecommunications, technology, utilities or banking.
- Experience in a high-growth, transformation or challenger-brand business.
- Exposure to Executive, Board, shareholder or lender reporting.
- Experience evaluating major technology, supplier or outsourcing investments.
- Experience with Power BI,



advanced analytics or financial planning platforms.
- Exposure to AI, automation or finance transformation initiatives.

Key Focus Areas In Your First Few Months You'll focus on building context, creating visibility and delivering early impact. Your priorities will include:

- Develop a deep understanding of More’s commercial, operational and financial drivers.
- Build trusted partnerships with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and leaders across the business.
- Review and enhance budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting processes.
- Improve commercial insight, forecasting accuracy and decision support capabilities.
- Support key strategic initiatives, investment decisions and business cases.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, cost efficiency and overall business performance.
- Establish priorities for finance transformation, automation and analytics enhancements.
