About the Role

Glasshouse Christian College is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Head of Hospitality to lead our Secondary Hospitality program.

This full-time, continuing position combines teaching with leadership of the Hospitality area. The successful applicant will provide strong educational leadership, oversee the delivery and development of engaging Hospitality programs, and support students to develop practical skills, knowledge and a passion for Hospitality.

The Head of Hospitality will work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning, foster a positive and engaging learning environment, and ensure the effective organisation and operation of the Hospitality area.

About You The successful applicant will:

- Be a committed Christian who actively supports and models the Christian ethos, mission and values of Glasshouse Christian College.
- Be an experienced and passionate Hospitality educator with the ability to lead, inspire and develop students and staff.
- Provide strong educational leadership and strategic direction for Hospitality, fostering excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Hospitality curriculum, contemporary pedagogy and current industry practices.
- Lead the delivery of engaging, practical and industry-relevant learning experiences that inspire students to achieve their best.




- Support and mentor staff, promoting collaboration, professional growth and high-quality teaching practice.
- Oversee curriculum, assessment, resources, facilities and the safe and effective operation of Hospitality learning environments.
- Build positive relationships with students, families, colleagues, industry partners and the wider College community.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be committed to the pastoral care and wellbeing of students and ongoing professional growth.
- Hold Queensland teacher registration (or be eligible to obtain registration).
