Reporting directly to the CTO, we're looking for an experienced Head of Platforms & Security to lead the strategy, architecture, governance and performance of our enterprise platforms, identity and security capabilities.

This is not a traditional infrastructure or cybersecurity leadership role.

It's a strategic position for a technology leader who can balance architecture, security, commercial outcomes and business partnership to create platforms that help the business move faster, operate smarter and grow sustainably.

You'll play a key role in shaping the systems, standards and operating models that support one of Australia's leading diversified property development and construction groups as we continue to expand across Australia and internationally.

The Opportunity

As Head of Platforms & Security, you'll own the roadmap for platforms, infrastructure, identity, security and enterprise architecture across the group.

What You'll Tackle

Platform Strategy & Architecture

- Develop and execute the enterprise platform, infrastructure and application roadmap
- Define technology standards,



governance frameworks and architectural principles
- Drive a Microsoft-first, buy-before-build approach to technology investment
- Improve platform resilience, integration and performance
- Provide technical leadership and design assurance across major initiatives

Identity, Security & Governance

- Lead enterprise identity and access management strategy
- Oversee RBAC, MFA, SSO, privileged access and Joiner-Mover-Leaver controls
- Strengthen cybersecurity posture through pragmatic, risk-based controls
- Drive vulnerability management, incident preparedness and security assurance activities
- Establish governance frameworks for AI, privacy, compliance and data protection

Operational Excellence

- Improve platform reliability, availability and business continuity
- Reduce recurring incidents and operational inefficiencies
- Ensure smooth transition of technology solutions into support and operations
- Leverage operational data and insights to drive continuous improvement

Commercial & Partner Leadership

- Lead strategic technology and security partners
- Manage cloud, licensing, platform and security investments
- Drive commercial performance, value optimisation and simplification
- Contribute to technology investment decisions, portfolio governance and benefits realisation

Leadership & Influence

- Partner with executives and business leaders across the organisation
- Translate complex technical concepts into practical business outcomes




- Develop capability across platforms, architecture, security and vendor management
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement

What You'll Bring

We're looking for an experienced technology leader who combines solid technical capability with commercial acumen and exceptional stakeholder management skills.

You will bring

- Experience leading enterprise platforms, infrastructure, architecture, identity or cybersecurity functions
- Strong expertise across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, cloud platforms and endpoint management
- Experience developing technology strategy, standards and platform roadmaps
- Deep understanding of identity and access management, security governance and risk management
- Experience delivering technology transformation, platform modernisation or security uplift programs
- Strong vendor, partner and commercial management capability
- Ability to influence executives, operational leaders and technical teams alike
- A pragmatic approach that balances risk, governance and speed of delivery
