We are Queensland's first grammar school. Our school caters for boys from Prep to Year 12 through an outstanding education offered to day and boarding students. We have developed innovative approaches to address the specific individual learning and personal development needs of boys.

Reporting to the Dean of Students, the Head of Year is an all-encompassing role, in meeting the total needs of the students under their direct care. The education of boys requires proven knowledge and understanding of the issues relating to young adolescent boys as they move through significant developmental stages. A person filling this position would be expected to work within the school’s aims, ethos and objectives, thus providing significant leadership within the School.

The main focus of this position is student wellbeing and the creation of a supportive, positive environment where every individual is valued.
