About the role

Due to the Promotion of one our valued team members, we are looking for a new skilled Technical Trainer to support our South Australian training needs.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Diesel Mechanic, Foreman or Service Manager with solid agricultural machinery knowledge, ideally John Deere, who is ready to step away from the tools and share their expertise with others.

We understand that harvest is a busy and important time of year, so we are seeking someone who is available to commence post-harvest in the new year.

Working as part of a connected and collaborative training team, and alongside a Certified Dealer Instructor, you will deliver internal training programs across the organisation, with a strong focus on our South Australian branch network.

You will assist with the rollout of John Deere accredited training,



including the TechSTAR apprenticeship program, while also helping to upskill employees across the group.

Strong working knowledge of John Deere machinery is essential. We are committed to supporting the successful candidate to become a John Deere Certified Dealer Instructor.

About you

You will be a confident communicator who is passionate about developing people and giving back to the industry. As an experienced Mechanic, Foreman or Service Manager, you will bring strong technical capability, practical industry knowledge and the ability to support others to learn and grow.

Based in South Australia, you will be comfortable travelling across our branch network to deliver training and will be open to adopting new technology and systems that enhance the way we train our teams.
