BDS Mechanical Repairs Aus Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Light Vehicle Mechanics, Heavy Diesel Mechanics and Diesel Fitters to join our growing team. We offer a variety of full-time and casual opportunities across workshops, field service, DIDO and FIFO operations, with opportunities to develop your skills and build a rewarding career with a leading Australian mechanical services provider.

BDS Mechanical Repairs Aus is a proudly family-owned company delivering professional mechanical, auto-electrical, welding and fabrication services across Queensland and Western Australia. With fully equipped workshops and more than 160 field service vehicles, we provide reliable repairs, maintenance and breakdown support across more than 600,000 km². Our experienced team supports the mining, civil, transport, agriculture, construction and heavy equipment industries.

Your duties will include:

- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including major and minor rebuilds
- Perform general repairs and maintenance - depending on position/qualifications you will work on trucks, trailers, earthmoving, fixed and mobile plant AG, etc.
- Replace and repair vehicle engines, steering systems, transmissions, and braking components
- Inspect and test vehicle lighting systems
- Conduct test drives to assess vehicle performance and functionality
- Maintain accurate service and repair records for all vehicles




- Follow and complete inspection procedures using established checklists

The successful candidates will possess the following:

- Relevant Trade Qualification
- Valid license
- Diagnostic experience
- Good communication skills
- Solid fault finding skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Extra skills, experience, tickets and licences will be advantageous
