Paramount Earthmoving is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle / Road Transport Mechanic to join our growing workshop team based in Bullsbrook, WA.

This is a permanent, Perth-based role offering a Monday to Friday roster, plenty of overtime for those who want it, and the opportunity to work across a up-to-date and diverse fleet supporting our Heavy Haulage and Mining Services operations throughout Western Australia.

The Fleet

Our Heavy Haulage fleet includes:

- Near-new Kenworth prime movers
- Mack Titans
- 50T low loaders / floats
- 100T floats
- Drake Platform Trailers and modular heavy haulage equipment

Our wider road transport fleet also includes:

- Side tippers
- Isuzu rigid water carts and service trucks
- Hino water carts and service trucks
- Scania service trucks
- Various support vehicles and ancillary equipment

The role offers plenty of variety, from scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance through to fault finding, repairs and maintaining specialised heavy haulage equipment.

What You'll Be Doing

- Servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy road transport equipment
- Diagnostics and fault finding on prime movers and rigid trucks
- Maintenance and repairs across Kenworth and Mack prime movers
- Servicing and repairing floats, trailers and heavy haulage equipment
- Hydraulic and pneumatic fault finding and repairs
- Preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing




- Identifying defects before they become major failures
- Maintaining accurate electronic service, inspection and repair records
- Supporting fleet compliance and roadworthiness requirements
- Working closely with our transport and workshop teams to maximise fleet availability

To Be Successful, You Will Have

- Australian-recognised Heavy Commercial Vehicle / Road Transport Mechanic qualification
- Current Australian driver's licence – minimum HR class
- Experience servicing and repairing heavy road transport equipment
- Experience with Kenworth and/or Mack prime movers
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience maintaining service and repair records using electronic systems
- Sound understanding of heavy vehicle compliance and maintenance requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical

HC or MC driver's licence will be highly regarded. Highly Regarded The following experience or licences would be advantageous but are not essential:

- Experience with Drake floats and platform trailers
- Hydraulic system experience
- Isuzu, Hino and Scania experience
- Air-conditioning accreditation and current Refrigerant Handling Licence
- High Risk Work Licence including LF, WP, DG, RB or CN
- Heavy haulage or mining transport fleet experience
