About Us?
The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region.
The Corporate Services team is responsible for the management and delivery of effective Finance, Human Resources, Accreditation, Information & Communications Technology, Workplace Health and Safety, Warehouse, and Infrastructure and Logistics services to enable IUIH to meet its strategic and operational objectives.
About the Role?
As Helpdesk Support Officer, your role is to provide client service in software and hardware support. This will include consistent and uninterrupted coverage of the helpdesk through phone and remote support in analysing and solving routine client IT problems and requests through to completion.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Provide assistance via phone and remote support channels.
- Respond to calls, emails, and support tickets in line with established service agreements.
- Deliver first-level support, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
- Ensure updates and fixes are communicated, scheduled, and implemented effectively.
- Develop a clear understanding of software features, limitations,
and issues to provide guidance to end users.
About You?
- Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
- Current Criminal History Check
- Relevant experience in remote desktop support and similar help desk roles.
Desirable, but not mandatory:
- Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and /or communities
