Your New Role
Open to Melbourne OR Sydney based candidates
6 month max term contract
Reporting to the Lead QA Tester, you will be responsible for end-to-end testing activities across functional and non‑functional requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data
- Develop and maintain test plans aligned to project timelines and objectives
- Provide regular reporting on testing progress, coverage, and defect status
- Identify opportunities for test automation and support implementation of frameworks
- Drive best practice in test automation to ensure scalable, maintainable solutions
- Collaborate closely with developers, platform owners, and project teams to deliver quality outcomes
Qualifications
- Experience across functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing
- Strong hands‑on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Xray, TestRail)
- Capability in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
- Working knowledge of Java, Python, or similar scripting languages
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and DevOps practices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Robust analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
