We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our Kitchen Team at Steampunk Surfers Paradise.

This position is ideal for someone wishing to further their kitchen leadership skills and work wellas a confident team player with our existing kitchen crew.

What you will bring:

- Proven experience running high-volume kitchens.
n
- Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a kitchen team.
n
- Ability to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes under pressure.
n
- Available to work evenings and weekends.
n

Responsibilities include the following:

n

n
- Cook and prepare a variety of dishes according to menu and recipe guides
n
- Create specialty dishes based on your creative flair
n
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene levels of food preparation areas
n
- Maintain food stock and prep levels and re-orderwhen appropriate
n




- Implement food safety best practicesLiaise with management and facility staff
n
- Lead, supervise, coach and develop team members enabling them to meet their full potential
n

Skills and Experience required

n

n
- At least 1yearof related experience
n
- Have the ability to work nights & weekends
n
- Possess strong leadership skills
n
- Have passion for working with food in a hands on capacity
n
- Work well under pressure
n
- Confidently run a service un-supervised
n
