We are a growing equipment hire company specialising in access equipment, forklifts, earthmoving machinery and tippers. We are looking for a reliable and organised Hire Controller to join our team.

About the role

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day hire operations, dealing directly with customers and coordinating equipment deliveries and collections.

Key responsibilities

- Answer customer calls, emails and enquiries
- Prepare quotes and manage equipment hire bookings
- Coordinate equipment availability, deliveries and collections
- Schedule and coordinate our transport team
- Maintain accurate hire and customer records
- Follow up quotes, bookings and outstanding requirements
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve day-to-day issues
- Work closely with drivers, customers and the operations team

About you





- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Well organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Confident on the phone and with email communication
- Good computer and administration skills
- Practical, reliable and solutions-focused
- Experience in equipment hire, construction, transport or a similar industry is highly regarded
- Previous experience as a Hire Controller or in a similar role is an advantage

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a busy workplace, dealing with customers and keeping operations running smoothly.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
