Holistic Support Worker

4 – 5 Shifts per Week (24 – 36 hrs per week) @ Palm Cove

Pay Rate: $48.13 Weekday to $67.38 Saturday

Seeking a warm, conscientious person with care factor plus, to join our unique service-for-one at Palm Cove. This role would suit a northern beaches resident; reduce your commute and improve your work/life balance.

For this position we are seeking an all-rounder with the following qualities:

- The ability to prioritize tasks and motivate others
- A love of continuous learning - a thinking person who takes pride in learning new skills
- An open drivers license & protected driving record. Experience driving a van or other long wheel-based vehicle would be an advantage.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: A Cert 3/4 or Diploma in one of the following: Disability Support, Nursing or Community Services.

DESIRABLE The following qualities and skills would make you a good match for our participant. We are looking for candidates who have of the following:

- Musical ability (do you play an instrument or sing?)
- A genuine love of reading for pleasure,



especially fantasy novels and human interest stories
- An interest in technology
- A love of nature & beach walks
- Enjoyment of water-based activities

CONDITIONS This role is being offered on a casual basis at 4 shifts per week, including one sleepover and the capacity to work one weekend shift on a regular basis. The capacity to pick up an additional shift to cover staff leave (totalling 5 shifts) would be highly regarded.

Typical Shift Times:

Mornings: 7am – 2pm & 7.30 – 1.30pm (2 workers)

Afternoons: 1pm – 7pm

Sleepovers: 6pm to 8am (with awake time)

Start date: Mid October
