About the role

This is a casual Housekeeper position at tht Captain Cook Hotel in Botany, NSW 2019.

As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our guests by maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our hotel rooms and public areas.

What you'll be doing

- Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, restocking amenities, and ensuring all surfaces are spotless
- Clean and maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and function spaces to the highest standards
- Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate team members
- Assist with additional housekeeping tasks as required, such as laundry and restocking supplies

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour




- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
