Your new role

Our global network and ways of working mean you’ll be part of something bigger, whilst taking pride in the work you do within a collaborative team. As HR Advisor APAC, you’ll shape how we tell our story, raise the bar for content quality, and continually evolve how we engage our audiences.
This is a full‑time permanent role commencing immediately based in any of Hays offices based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
Key responsibilities include
- HR project delivery, employee onboarding, orientations and internal mobility processes.
- Provide advice on policies, employee relations, performance management, grievances, leave and wellbeing matters.
- Manage employee lifecycle activities including promotions, parental leave, sabbaticals, transfers and terminations.
- Support investigations, employee surveys, engagement initiatives and stakeholder reporting.
- Oversee visa approvals, HR data management and compliance across APAC
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, position descriptions and intranet content.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience supporting a fast paced, high volume business environment, ideally within a sales organisation.
- Robust knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.
- Commercially minded with the ability to understand business priorities and provide practical solutions.
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
- A proactive, hands on approach with a proven ability to deliver outcomes and work through ambiguity.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a curious mindset and genuine passion for learning and continuous improvement.
