The Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our People & Culture team based in Brisbane or Parramatta.
As a trusted partner to leaders and employees, you will provide professional HR advice and support across a broad range of people-related matters. Working closely with operational and corporate stakeholders, you will contribute to the delivery of key people initiatives while ensuring compliance with company policies, employment legislation and best practice HR standards.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse and national workforce, supporting key initiatives that drive employee engagement, capability development and organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely and practical HR advice to managers and employees
- Coordinate and manage key employee lifecycle activities
- Assist leaders with workforce planning and organisational changes
- Coach and support managers in the application of HR policies and procedures
- Partner with recruitment teams to support talent acquisition and onboarding activities
- Assist with performance review and talent management processes
- Support workplace health, safety and wellbeing initiatives
- Contribute to HR projects, policy reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and company policies
- Prepare HR reports and workforce insights to support decision-making
About You You are an approachable and solutions-focused HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships and partnering with leaders to achieve positive people outcomes.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor, People & Culture Advisor or similar generalist HR role
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations principles
- Experience managing employee relations matters and providing advice to leaders
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline
- Experience working within a multi-site or operational environment is highly regarded
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and exposure to HRIS platforms
