Principal Enterprise Architect – Cryptographic Services

We are seeking an experienced Principal Enterprise Architect / Technical Lead to support a major program focused on the assessment, enhancement and maturation of enterprise cryptographic services.

n

The role will provide technical leadership across PKI, HSMs, certificate lifecycle management, key management and trust services, while driving architecture, governance and operational capability uplift.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Lead enterprise PKI, HSM and cryptographic architecture
n
- Develop target-state architectures, trust models and security controls
n
- Conduct capability assessments, gap analysis and roadmap development
n
- Develop PKI/cryptographic policies, standards, procedures and operating models
n
- Lead secure delivery, transition to operations and continual improvement
n
- Provide senior technical advice across architecture, engineering,



operations and business teams
n
- Manage security risks, dependencies and operational resilience
n
- Mentor teams and support specialist knowledge transfer
n

n

Key requirements

n

n
- Robust experience in PKI, HSM, cryptographic services, key management or related security architecture
n
- Proven experience developing security governance, policies and operating models
n
- Senior technical leadership experience in complex enterprise environments
n
- Experience across technology delivery, transition and operational readiness
n
- NV1 security clearance
n
- Experience within Australian Government, Defence or other high-assurance environments and knowledge of relevant cryptographic and security frameworks will be highly regarded.
