Humanities and Social Sciences Teacher (Business Specialist)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced teacher to embark on an exciting opportunity as a Humanities and Social Sciences Teacher, specialising in Business Management & Enterprise, to join our Senior School in 2027. In this permanent role you will be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking faculty.
Our ideal candidate will be a passionate and engaging educator with the ability to teach Year 11 and 12 ATAR Business Management & Enterprise. The ability to teach Accounting & Finance will also be highly regarded.
The successful candidate will
- have the ability to teach multiple Humanities and Social Sciences subjects up to Year 10 level as well as experience and expertise to teach Year 11 and 12 Business Management & Enterprise ATAR;
- the ability to teach Accounting and Finance at Year 11 and 12 ATAR level will be highly regarded;
- be a positive, collaborative and flexible professional able to work effectively in a team workplace;
- demonstrate high level of skills utilising and facilitating the use of technology in the classroom;
- be able to apply sound pedagogical principles in the classroom including creative and critical thinking tools;
- use and analysis of formative and summative assessment to inform teaching practice as well as the provision of valuable feedback in a timely, constructive and substantive manner;
- have experience in effectively managing the pastoral needs of students;
- have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in interactions with colleagues, parents and students;
- have an understanding of Western Australian Curriculum requirements; and
- be a qualified teacher with tertiary qualifications in ComputingHumanities and Social Sciences, with TRB clearance, and be able to teach in WA.
Significant participation in the pastoral and co-curricular life of the school is expected.
