You'll start in a hands-on senior technical role, working across service, diagnostics, repairs and technical troubleshooting. As the department grows, you'll have the opportunity to take on more responsibility, help develop technicians, improve the way the department operates and progress towards leading the Service Department.
Key responsibilities
- HVAC service, diagnostics, fault finding and repairs
- Troubleshooting difficult refrigeration and electrical faults
- Split, multi-split and ducted reverse-cycle systems
- VRV/VRF diagnostics where required
- Warranty and post-installation troubleshooting
- Commissioning and technical support
- Supporting technicians and apprentices on difficult jobs
- Communicating directly with customers and explaining solutions clearly
- Maintaining professional Simpro job notes, photos and documentation
- Mentoring and developing technicians
About you
- Strong HVAC service and fault-finding experience
- Strong refrigeration and electrical diagnostic skills
- Experience with split, multi-split and ducted reverse-cycle systems
- VRV/VRF experience highly regarded
- Relevant Australian trade licences and qualifications
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Strong communication skills
- Confidence dealing directly with customers
