Infrastructure Solution Architect

12 month contract MTC | $180k + super | Sydney

- Infrastructure, Networks & Cloud: design end‑to‑end solutions across on‑premise, networking, hosting and cloud environments
- Senior, individual contributor, reports to Architecture Lead
- Hybrid 3 days/week

Own end‑to‑end infrastructure solution design for enterprise programmes, ensuring scalability and compliance.

Our client is a leading Australian technology services provider delivering enterprise‑grade infrastructure, networking and cloud solutions across multiple sectors. They partner with large organisations to modernise and optimise their digital foundations, fostering innovation and resilience.

The Role

You will spearhead the creation and governance of practical infrastructure architectures, collaborating with specialists and business analysts to translate requirements into robust designs.

- Develop comprehensive solution designs spanning on‑premise, networking, hosting and cloud platforms
- Translate business and technical requirements into clear, actionable architecture artefacts
- Coordinate infrastructure, network, hosting and cloud specialists to produce integrated designs




- Present and defend designs before Architectural Review Boards and governance forums
- Manage the solution design backlog, prioritising work and driving delivery to completion

What You'll Bring

- Senior experience in infrastructure or solution architecture within enterprise environments
- Deep knowledge of enterprise networking, server infrastructure and cloud concepts (Azure and/or AWS)
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional technical teams and produce integrated designs
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on practical, scalable outcomes

Bonus: Experience presenting to architecture governance boards and familiarity with security and compliance standards
