Role Description
This is a full-time in office Accountant role located in Sydney, NSW. The Intermediate/Senior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, financial analysis, preparing financial statements, conducting audits, and assisting with tax planning and compliance. Someone looking to start or have commenced the CA.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure timely completion of client work
- Assist in preparing Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs
- Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG for various companies and trusts
- Receive direct coaching from experienced Partners aiming to manage a diverse client portfolio
- Provide exceptional service to clients
- Liaise with statutory authorities on behalf of clients
- Participate in training seminars, team meetings, and social events
About You The company is looking for:
- Current enrolment or completion of an Australian Accounting degree or related discipline
- Willingness to work
- Intention to pursue Chartered Accountant qualification after graduation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to providing exceptional client service
- Proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic attitude
