About the role An experienced Intermediate Tax Accountant position based in Alexandria, Sydney. The role involves attending to clients, taking instructions, and managing a variety of tax and accounting matters within a small to medium-sized business setting.

Key responsibilities

- Attending to clients and taking instructions

- Assisting other staff in all types of matters

- Processing individual, partnership, companies and trust funds tax returns

- Completing BAS's and company financials

- Using Xero, MYOB, MS Office and other bookkeeping software

- Bank reconciliations

- Maintaining excellent understanding of ATO standards and requirements

About you

- Relevant qualifications within Business, Commerce, Accounting and Tax





- 2+ years Tax Accounting experience

- Must have experience completing Tax returns

- Must have a reasonable understanding of ATO practices

- Exposure to Xero software, MYOB and Sage HandiSoft

- Satisfactory understanding of processing BAS's and company financials

- Intermediate Excel Skills

- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude

- Highly organised and a quick learner

- Able to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
