We're looking for an Internal Digital and Communications Advisor to join our Communications & Brand team on a 10-12 month contract. This is an chance to take ownership of AFCA's intranet and employee digital experience, shaping how more than 1,500 employees connect, collaborate, access knowledge and stay informed.
If you're passionate about SharePoint, internal communications, digital content and creating intuitive online experiences, this is your chance to make a visible impact across the organisation.
You'll be responsible for helping transform AFCA's digital workplace, creating engaging content, improving knowledge sharing, driving continuous improvement and enhancing the way employees experience our digital channels every day.
This is initially a 10 (possibly 12) month contract.
What you'll be doing
- Own and enhance content across AFCA's intranet, Knowledge Centre and employee-facing digital platforms.
- Create engaging news, campaigns,
resources and communications that connect employees to what matters most.
- Build and maintain high-quality SharePoint pages and digital experiences that are intuitive, user-focused and visually engaging.
- Partner with teams across the organisation to turn complex information into clear, accessible content.
- Drive initiatives that improve how employees find, access and share information.
- Support organisation-wide communication and change initiatives through digital channels.
- Coach and support content owners to create high-quality, employee-focused content.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, content governance and user experience across AFCA's digital ecosystem.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who combines strong writing skills, creativity and digital expertise.
You'll have:
- Strong experience creating and managing content within SharePoint Online.
- A background in internal communications, digital content, employee communications or intranet management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute positively to team culture and outcomes.
- Outstanding writing and editing skills, with a knack for making complex information simple and engaging.
- Experience creating digital experiences that are user-focused, accessible and easy to navigate.
- Confidence working with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- A naturally curious mindset and passion for continuous improvement.
