About the role:
As an IT Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the reliable, secure and efficient operation of Ord Minnett's technology environment. Working closely with the IT Operations Manager, you will coordinate day-to-day IT operations across service delivery, endpoint management, identity and access administration, security practices, change management, documentation, reporting and vendor engagement.
Acting as a key link between the business and our Managed Services Provider (MSP), you will help ensure incidents, service requests and operational activities are delivered effectively and to a high standard. You will monitor progress, coordinate follow-up actions, maintain operational documentation, support governance activities and help drive a positive experience for end users across the firm.

Primary responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day IT operations,
ensuring incidents, service requests and operational activities are progressed, communicated and resolved effectively.
- Act as the primary liaison with managed service providers (MSPs) and technology vendors, monitoring service delivery, tracking actions and escalating issues where required.
- Support endpoint and device management activities, including hardware refreshes, software deployments, patching, compliance monitoring and technology rollouts.
- Assist with user onboarding, offboarding, access management and MFA processes, ensuring activities align with security and governance requirements.
- Coordinate remediation activities relating to security, operational risk and compliance, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Support change management and release activities, including planning, communications, implementation tracking, testing and post-implementation review.
- Maintain high-quality operational documentation, procedures, knowledge articles and audit-ready records to support effective service delivery.
- Provide clear and professional communication to users and stakeholders, promoting a customer-focused approach while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience:
- 2-5 years' experience in IT support, service delivery, IT operations or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Windows environments, identity and access management, MFA, security controls and endpoint management technologies.
- Experience working with ITSM platforms, managed service providers (MSPs), vendors and cross-functional technical teams.
- Well-developed organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to support users and drive outcomes effectively.
- Exposure to Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Defender, change management processes, audits, access reviews and IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
- Experience within financial services or another regulated industry is advantageous.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline are desirable.
